These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website mariaz.design (the “Site”), operated by Maria Zaman (as an individual), Șos. București-Ploiești, Nr. 14-22, Sector 1, Bucharest 013693, Romania (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site is an online portfolio presenting interior architecture and design work, and a means of contacting us about potential projects. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to provide services. Any engagement for design services is subject to a separate written agreement between you and us.
2. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including project images, renderings, floor plans, drawings, texts, logos, graphics and the overall design and layout of the Site, is owned by us or used under licence, and is protected by Romanian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may view the Site and, for personal, non-commercial purposes, download or print individual pages. You may not, without our prior written permission:
- reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or publicly display any content from the Site;
- use any project images, plans or renderings in your own portfolio, marketing materials, publications or social media;
- remove any copyright or attribution notices;
- use the content for training or developing artificial intelligence or machine learning systems.
Some projects shown on the Site were developed in academic or collaborative contexts, and certain rights may be shared with universities, partners or clients. Requests to use any content should be sent to maria@mariaz.design.
3. Project information
Projects presented on the Site include concept proposals, academic work and completed or ongoing commissions. Renderings and plans are illustrative and may differ from executed work. Information about clients, locations or dates is provided for portfolio purposes only and should not be relied upon for any other purpose.
4. Contact form and communications
You may use the contact form to send us enquiries. You agree to provide accurate information and not to send unlawful, offensive or unsolicited commercial content. Messages sent through the Site do not create any contractual relationship or obligation on our part to respond. How we handle the personal data you send us is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server or any connected system;
- introduce malware or use automated tools to scrape, crawl or copy the Site’s content at scale;

9. Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; the revised version takes effect when posted on the Site, and the date at the top indicates the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [Bucharest], Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you.
